Here's the update for this week's email. He mentioned the following;
"So this week was super crazy, on Tuesday I said good bye to my good friend Elder Carpenter, seeing him leave on the ICE was very sad, but that was ok, because there was Burger King just around the corner where I could eat my sadness away haha. I waited a while at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof for my new companion and he finally came. My new companion is Elder Blake. We have been working really hard together here in Kiel, we have been meeting new friends and helping them to find who Jesus Christ really is. We have seen so many miracles in the last week. So many people are prepared to learn more about the gospel, I am really excited for this work and really hope that I can continue it after my mission.
We have been working really hard at just trying to improve the area. It has been working too. I just love talking to people on the street. I think if I had to do it in English, I would struggle, but doing it in German is so much more easier. If I make a mistake then it is ok, because I dont know if I did. Also I feel more comfortable speaking in German sometimes. Maybe it will become my mother language before I come home. Who knows.
My new companion Elder Blake is from Provo Utah, but was born in Alaska. His dad is from Idaho and his mum is from the Philippines, so he is half American and half Filipino, which is super cool. I miss all my Asian and poly friends from home. It is really cool to have a new companion. I dont have any photos of him yet, because we havent had time for that, but today we will go bowling with a few members, so maybe after that I will.
The other day as we were street contacting, we were walking across the bridge of the Harbour and the gate went down and we got to watch the bridge open up and let a sail ship go through, so that was something that was really cool. I dont know how often I will see that, but I thought that it was cool. It is something my dad taught me.
Well my dear friends, I do miss you, but I know that you are still all there. I hope you have a wonderful week and take care.
Elder Pinyon"
